Description
This is my character, Elsa, from Final Fantasy XIV! I obsessed over that game for the first month or two, geared my BLM to i92, and then stopped because, well... the MMO grind really isn't sometihng I find too appealing.
I tried several different things with this painting. The concept art style doesn't seem to suit me very well, but it's kind of fun to do in grayscale.
Drawing the nude figure and doing the grayscale paint were most enjoyable for me. Once it came to drapery, details, and colour, I was completely lost.
I'd need to practice a lot more to get decent at this style of painting. I don't even know if I want to get better at it. I'd argue that this is hardly finished, but it has shown me where the holes in my learning are, but blech.

I want my art to look like this one day... This is truly, in my eyes, the highest form of artwork that I aspire to perform. For now I'm only doing monochrome traditional art character designs, but eventually, I'll aim to get to this level.
